Evaluation Question 3
What have you learned from you audience feedback?
After we had finished completing the documentary, print advert and radio trailer we conducted a questionnaire and handed it out to an audience. We asked questions about all three pieces and we were given feedback on them. We studied the feedback and have learnt things through the good feedback and the constructive criticism we were given.
This was us presenting our work to our audience.
This is a copy of the questionnaire we handed out:
We also got some feedback from the social networking site, facebook;

Recording The Radio Advert.
Firstly we asked a friend of ours to record the voiceover. He is an 18 year old male and we felt it fit in with the documentary well.
We then recorded it and put the voiceover onto our documentary and unfortunately it did not sound how we wanted it to. We felt like the pitch and tone was not right and that the voice sounded 'too young' for the documentary.
So we then recorded it again with a different person and we preferred the outcome.
We felt like it related to the audience and genre more and it was more powerful, well spoken and clear.

Evidence of Editing Process
These are some pictures of us working as a group of the editing process of out documentary, radio trailer and poster advert. This demonstrate us working as a group and working efficiantly to ensure we could produce the best work we could.
Editing Process- Poster
This is the process we went through when editing our poster advert. We used Adobe Photoshop to do this.

Editing Process- Radio Trailer
This is the editing process of our radio trailer, it is fairly simple and it was easy to make and there was notmuch too it.
Editing Process Of Documentary
This shows the editing process of our documentary. It shows how we used new media technologies to produce a documentary for Channel 4.
Edit Decision List
The edit decision list allowed us to then pick certain material, that we had deemed worthy of using from the logging sheets, to use in our documentary. We had to carefully document what shot we were using and describe it. We then ensured it all fit together nicely and would produce a documentary that could be compared to professional media texts.
The EDL helped us greatly in staying on track when editing our documentary: however in the final production we made some minor changes, and strayed from the EDL slightly. This was because when we thought we had completed the documentary, we went back and looked through the logging sheets, to see if there was any more exciting footage in exchange for what we had chosen. We feel making the decision to change some of the original footage we chose was a good idea as our documentary fits together better as it is now. Logging Sheet
Documentary Voiceover- Script.
Once we had finished editing our documentary we put together a voiceover script. We watched our edited documentary and decided where the voiceover needed to be and we conducted the script around certain parts of the documentary that needed voiceover.
