Preliminary Task- Its Good To Talk- Brief and Ideas

Task:

• Working in groups, your task is to conduct nd interview about the subject of mobile phones
• Your interview will then be edited into a short film so ths only the answers are used- the audience will not hear any of the questions being asked.
• You will need to think of a title for yor short film
• You will also lay a music bed under the enditied interview.

Questions for the Interview:

1. Tell me what life was like before you has the mobile phone
2. When did you get your first mobile phone and what did you get?
3. Tell me about all the mobile phones you have had
4. Tell me about your current mobile phone
5. Why did you choose this phone?
6. Tell me about the ringtone you have and why you chose it
7. What do you use yout mobile phone for?
8. How much does your mobile cost each month?
9. How often do you send text messages?
10. What text 'language' do you use and how did you learn it?
11. What's the best thing about having a mobile phone?
12. Whats the worst thing about having a mobile phone?
13. How important is your mobile phone to you?
14. How could you cope without your mobile phone?

As a group of three, during a lesson, we decided on the title, props, cutaways and mise-en-scene of our short film.

Props: Mobile Phone
Cutaways: Mid shot/low angle of  person recieving a text, establishing or arieal shot of lots of different phones going off at the same time to display the different ring tones, over the shoulder or medium close up of person replying to text, close up on phone reciveing a message, friends talking on the phone
Mise-en-scene: Media room as it relates to technology
